I’ve just downloaded a free application called Trillian.
What it does is combine the messaging functions of MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, IRC and Yahoo Messenger into one application!
I installed it this afternoon and it found and imported all my contacts for the various messaging systems and seems to be handling everything OK so far 
and I’ll be testing it out over the next week or so.
For those of use with multiple messaging systems it seems the ticket……….
I’ve had trillian for a while and I love it
So um…you just use that it and it puts all your chat systems into one thing??

Trillian is awesome, except for a couple things…I used to have trouble staying connected to aim, but I think they fixed that bug, and if you use web cams at all, they won’t work with trillian…enjoy!

It looks good, but like too many other programs they don’t offer a Mac version so I hope they all get scabies.
