rain!

The rain was so heavy this afternoon that it totally blocked the satellite TV signal.  No pixellation, no picture jumping, no mis-synchronisation of picture and sound – nothing!

    I don’t have any satellite reception – and it’s crystal clear blue skies outside – no wind or nothing. Been on the phone with the company since 10am (it’s 1:30 now). *sigh* i’m getting very ticked off! I think my receiver want kapoot (which is bad since I have no money to buy a new one)

    Yeah – my receiver died a couple of weeks ago 🙁 Luckily I have a good friend about 100 yards away who, bizarrely enough had a spare one!  They are about 300 GBP (455 USD)! so I’m hoping his works OK and doesn’t want his one back!!

    PS:  Why no entries on your front page at the mo’ ?

    just sick of the webpage junk. I’ll probably not do a dang thing until the blogathon and then i’ll do that for my poor charity.. then close up shop. Kinda sick and tired of the whole dealey bobber.. ya know?
