random

It took me a while to find the right code but at last I have got random images in the banner!  It’s easy enough to find scripts that do random images in an HTML page but harder to find ones that can randomise CSS backgrounds.  Refresh this page a few times to see what happens at the top.  Notice how the background changes but the text (which isn’t part of the image) doesn’t? Cool!

Here’s the article at A list apart and the CSS insertion is in the discussion.

Gina tagged me so here goes.

How much space is left on your TIVO?

Tivo, in this television backwater of a country? – they don’t even broadcast in widescreen yet!

Have you ever bought a DVD of a tv series and if so which one?

No.  And I have no particular desire to……

What was the last tv show you watched before reading this message ?

I saw a bit of New Zealand getting dicked by Aussie in the cricket (again dammit!)

List five shows you won’t miss:

Holmes, Oprah, Eastenders, Coronation Street and The Bill (dumbass me thought it meant “you wouldn’t miss if they went!”) My real answers should have been:

Scrubs, CSI, Stargate SG-1, One Network News and Everybody loves Raymond but even then if they all went off air I wouldn’t kill myself over it…….

I shall tag:

hide and seek

Max is so funny when he plays hide and seek smile

Just before his bath tonight I told him to hide under the covers of our bed while Mummy came to look for him.  He hid under the covers and waited (so far so good)…….  Vic walked in and was saying things like “is Max in the closet” “is Max in the bathroom” – y’now, the usual.

The hilarious thing was whenever Vic would speak Max would yell out “BED” and then giggle.

Makes him easy to find though smile

expressionengine is installed and seems to be working!  Once the files were uploaded it only took about 10 minutes to get going and I’ve tried submitting comments with success smile

Excuse the layout but it’s the least of my worries at the moment wink

weekend=garden

This post was written by Marc in the category(ies) News No Comments »

This weekend has been really tough work!  My Dad came over and we got started on the raised garden.  We had to dig 25 holes to a depth of about 500mm and the damn ground here is mostly rocks 🙁 We had a stand on digger with an auger and that didn’t cut the mustard sometimes so I spent a big chunk of Saturday on the end of a pneumatic drill trying to get the holes to the right depth!  Sunday was spent cutting the posts, lining them up and concreting.

The pics from each evening are in the extended entry.
