well a second attempt at upgrading didn’t work 
and according to the support forums at movabletype it seems to be happening to other people as well. i think i’ll give it a few days and see what happens on the forums……
also: the whole tv buying experience didn’t go well this afternoon either. all the electronics shops in surrey quays have plenty of tv’s on display but none in stock – what’s the fewkin point!! “we’ll have to get them from our warehouse which will take 2-3 days” – bollocks to that, my tv has just blown up and i want a replacement!
