my old man is ok
it seems he took himself to hosptial late on sunday night with a recurrence of an old problem – chest pains and falling asleep at the drop of a hat.
he’ll be in hospital for a few days and they are thinning his blood with a drug that is a derivative of rat poison (nice!)
so he’s just as unhealthy as he was before but at least no worse……….
i’m very sorry to hear about your Dad. i went through something similar with my Mom–she’s had two heart attacks. very scary. so, i hope you’re able to hold up during this time, and your Dad comes through ok.
and, as Arnie says, “i’ll be back.” *wink*
thanks bran. it’s a bit difficult being 12,000 miles away and 11 hours behind! we’ve been through this before so i’m not tooooooo worried.

ah, yes…my Mom is halfway cross the country, as well. it’s kind of frightening thinking what might happen. but i try not to ponder that too much.
