I have a projector from work and am doing this entry on a screen that measures about eight feet wide on my lounge wall! sweet We also watched some TV as well which was OK at best – it is a business projector though…….

In house news we have started to run into problems with part of the flooring delivery 🙁 and can’t have the vinyl we want in the three bathrooms **grrr** There isn’t any in the country so we’ve had to choose another one and we now have to wait and see if that one is available and won’t push the move-in date back 🙁

The house is coming along!  The interior painting is mostly done and the kitchen cabinets are installed!

Here you go Gina This is the house as of Friday.  Most of the scaffolding’s gone and they’ve done the first coat of paint downstairs!

We have a move in date for the new house – 25th June! Yee ha!

All the bricks are now complete and we’ve handed over our next progress payment (65%) We now officially have a mortgage! and for the next 5-6 weeks will be paying rent and a mortgage 🙁

8 days since my last entry!  Why? Probably because life is so busy it’s boring – know what I mean?

In (my) family news my brother is now living in Heidelberg, Germany! He’s working in a tattoo parlour and has been there for about two weeks.  How about an email bro!? Also in the last week or two my Mother has sold her house and is moving in the next few weeks.  She’s been there about 20 years so it will seem quite strange for me to visit her somewhere else (and very strange for her I guess)

The house is coming along.  All the interior walls are lined and the bricks have been delivered and are due to be started tomorrow.  Vic and I have informed the developers of all the interior colours, carpet etc and we might be in within 8 weeks!

Just for Jay here’s a picture of the house taken today.  The roof is 90% on and some of the windows are even in!  The more complete it looks the more exciting it is…….. the only problem is that once it is closed in we have to pay the next 65% of the value 🙁

I’ve just got back from 3 days in Auckland – the middle day to play golf at Gulf Harbour – tough life

Thanks to all those that commented or called about Max’s wee scare.  He seems to be over it now and the mark is almost gone.
