lol! He’s not really this bizarre looking
The very short focal length of my Clie makes for strange distortions…….
Vic had a driving lesson today so I thought I’d take Max for a walk along the coast. 70kph winds and sand make for fun walking – NOT! Luckily we had Max’s rain-cover so he was protected from the worst of it

I had Max on my knee and he was staring really intently at the keyboard. I opened up a new text document and this is what he typed:

Want to see the 28 unedited photos all taken within 5 minutes from todays shoot?
As you can see loads of rubbish and not really one good one among them. Blurry? You bet and here’s why:
With a 35mm camera, a 100mm focal length, an apeture of F4 and a subject distance of 0.5m the DOF (Depth of Field or area of acceptable sharpness) is 4mm! So Max doesn’t have to move much to go blurry 🙁
The pages, thumbnail and medium size files were auto generated from a mixture of in-camera JPEGs and RAW files using Breezebrowser

It’s all photo’s this week! There are three new shots of Max in the Image Gallery – two of them show his new teeth off quite well
Here are the thumbnails (they don’t link to anything)

Weeeeeee – Max had his first “solid” food today. By solid of course I mean sloppy goop
He had breast milk mixed with Farex Baby Rice to about the consistency of soup.
He did pretty well too – no crying! I thought that he even ate most of it but Vic reckons most of it dribbled out
Either way we are now on the track that leads to proper food and smelly shit!

I have no idea why Max put his water filled teething ring on his face like this and lay there for five minutes just looking through it and not moving! Strange boy
