1. What shampoo do you use? – Head and Shoulders. The problem with having hair that’s about 1/8” long is that my scalp gets dry (too much information?)
2. Do you use conditioner? What kind? Nope – but I do moisturise my head!
3. When was the last time you got your hair cut? 3 days ago. I cut it myself about every 2 weeks
4. What styling products do you use? None
5. What’s your worst hair-related experience? When I was about 20 I had long brown hair in a ponytail. The afternoon before our company Xmas party I got it cut short and died “platinum blonde” The only problem was that it actually came out more like piss yellow! As it was such a big change no-one but me knew it was not the colour it was supposed to be.

It really is a gorgeous day here in London with fine weather and a temperature of 25?C/77?F
Whilst I may not be as lucky as Martin (who was sitting in his garden ICQ’ing me on his wireless network earlier) at least I can sit in my home office with all the windows wide open and the sound of the River Thames wafting over me.
Gotta be better than an air-conditioned building with just the sound of bickering to keep your aural senses working!

1) It’s now been 18 months since Vic and I had a microwave in our flat. Do we miss it? Sometimes, but not as often as I thought we would
2) Stories like this piss me off. You try to save lives and get screwed for it. They need signs that say “Danger – pretty much everything in life”

Well, I went to my first photography club competition last night. There were about fifteen entrants and 40 entries. The judge was a London based professional photographer and had judged many competitions in and around London. Some of the other club members have 20-30 years experience and are are members of other clubs and have been entering competitions for years.
The judge had to mark the photos out of ten and then choose a first, second and third.
I got first and second equal!!! :vbg:
FIRST
SECOND EQUAL
So out of the three positions I got two!
I was so buzzed!

I just discovered today that Google publishes statistics relating to searches on a page called Zeitgeist.
This page shows not only the most popular searches but also those that are increasing and decreasing in popularity (and loads more) An interesting read once a month or so methinks.
Zeitgeist Explained…
zeit?geist | Pronunciation: ‘tsIt-“gIst, ‘zIt | Function: noun | Etymology: German, from Zeit (time) + Geist (spirit) | Date: 1884 | Meaning: the general intellectual, moral, and cultural climate of an era

I’ve just upgraded to Movabletype 2.11 so if you run into any problems please let me know
I think that I moved all my MT file changes over. I updated the automatic smilies so that they now align=”absmiddle” which had been bugging me for a while

Poor Vic
Working at home I like to snack. Before Monday it would be something tasty – sandwich, potato chips, chocolate, you know, nice food. Due to my one day old diet yesterday found me chowing down on raw vegetables and fruit. I love raw veges and yesterday saw me consuming raw cabbage, carrots and oranges. These, in conjunction with the baked beans on toast that I had for lunch made for a very intestinally volatile mix. Let’s just say that by the end of the evening poor Vic wasn’t very happy with the fetid atmosphere in our little flat – sorry baby! *smooch*
Spell checking within IE
I found a link on movabletype’s support forums to ieSpell. ieSpell is a free Internet Explorer browser extension that spell checks text input boxes on a webpage. Very handy for bloggers who can’t type for shite ie: me
I’m sure there was something else… maybe it’ll come to me later!
