Most of the weight I lost over the last few months has piled back on 🙁
I’ll be honest and admit I have NO will power. It wouldn’t be so bad but Vic’s food demands are mostly for stuff that’s not exactly weight loss friendly. I’ve been making dinner every night for her and I just eat what she wants to eat as I really can’t be arsed cooking two meals.
But I went for a run today! It was only two miles (18:16 – pathetic) but at least it’s a start. I tried to start running about a month ago but after running once could hardly breathe for the rest of the day and hardly walk for the next two! This time though I paced myself a lot better and, although breathing heavily, wasn’t too wheezy.
I’m going to try and run at least 4 times a week to start off with and want to get to the stage where I can run for an hour without it being a struggle. We’ll see…………
those darn pregnant women and their food cravings! I will resist them this time…I need to…would hate to pile on the weight that I did with my first…its treacherous roads ahead, you two be careful! and enjoy…
Thanks Autumn – we will be
It’d be alright if Vic was putting on weight but she’s not! Sometimes I think (and it looks like) I’m carrying the little bugger!
o not putting on weight…my green eyed monster is definately raising its head…
Don’t be so hard on yourself! You’ll get there. Just take it one day at a time. If you falter, don’t let that make you feel as though you can’t succeed, because you can! :emb:
Thanks Gina :star:
Don’t get me wrong – I have no doubts that I can pretty much do anything I want if I get off my lazy arse and do it! :zoink:
Good luck on keeping off the weight.
And that running time isn’t bad at all—I’m happy when I run two miles in that time.
BTW, thanks for the one-on-one help when it comes to putting up the pictures on my site. I appreciate it.
Oh, I wish I had something encouraging to say here, but as one very pregnant woman to the husband of another, trust me when I tell you that now is not the time to care about your figure!
:wkd:
My husband has slowly been gaining along with me – he does the same thing as you, eats whatever I eat – and to date he’s put on an extra six or seven pounds (not sure what that is converted). We laugh about it and promise to help each other lose our baby weight together after she’s born. It’s just easier for everyone that way!
