After trying four I have at last found an IE “upgrade” that does what I want it to. I’ve been looking for the ability to have tabbed browsing within IE for a while and all the other programs I’ve tried have done various strange things, mostly with popups. When most blogs have popup comment windows this can be a problem!
Avantbrowser seems to do everything properly 
If you’re an IE user (and 79.9% of you are according to my webstats) you should at least have a look at it.
PS: Yes, I use Opera and Mozilla as well, but IE is my main browser
