I tried a relatively simple change to the CSS last night because the site looked screwed up under firefox (my default browser now) Got it looking really nice and then looked at it under IE6 – completely wrong!!! Bloody IE doesn’t handle CSS very elegantly (or correctly) so the site’s been looking weird for last wee while.
The front page looks the same in both browsers for the minute (all the menu on the LHS is missing) but I’ll see what I can do over the weekend.

The house is coming along! The interior painting is mostly done and the kitchen cabinets are installed!

This is the house as of Friday. Most of the scaffolding’s gone and they’ve done the first coat of paint downstairs!

I forgot to do an update earlier this week – lazy bugger!
? David and Claire came down from Auckland for the weekend and we had a fantastic time It was really nice to see them after being so close in the UK but we did nothing but eat all weekend! I felt very bloated on Monday after eating out 4 times over the weekend!
? We also visited the house and they’ve done a few things. The fencing is all done and looks pretty good for a cheap fence. They’ve also done a lot of the painting upstairs and it’s very interesting to see the colours we’ve picked up on the walls. Not bad and it’ll be even more interesting once our furniture is in – not long now!
