cool
At lunchtime today I bought a Jabra Bluetooth headset. It’s in it’s wee holder at the moment charging up for 2 hours but I’ve already paired it with my phone so it’ll be interesting to see if it works…….

Three days since the last update and to be honest not a lot has happened. I have put another 4 pictures in the image database but that’s about it. We’re both absolutely knackered for the most part and just taking things day by day……
I’m back to work on Monday and am feeling pretty ambiguous about it. Although it’ll be nice to get back and be busy I’ll miss/worry about Vic and Max. Vic really needs to get more sleep and hopefully without me there she’ll nap during the day some more.
That’s about it for now, Max has just woken up so it’s another round of feeding and changing……..
It took me 9 hours to find my wallet yesterday!
We went to see David and Claire on Sunday and if you had put me up in court and said “did you take your wallet to David and Claire’s flat?” I would have yes straight away and without a hint of doubt.
After 9 hours of hunting high and low I found my wallet in my camera bag of all places. As I can’t remember opening my camera bag at all yesterday then it must have been put in there before going to Davids. If you’d asked “did you put your wallet in your camera bag AT ALL?” I would have said “hell no!”
So there are two options – 1) I took my wallet to D&C’s and then put it in my camera bag after that and don’t remember it…. or 2) My wallet was in my camera bag before we left the house and I didn’t take it anywhere.
Either way I am losing the plot!
? Max has returned to and surpassed his birth weight. He now weighs a grand 7lb 12oz (3.520kg) The midwife was very happy with this as it usually takes 10-14 days to get back to birth weight after the initial weight loss and he’s only 5 days old.
? I’ve been thinking about my role in Max’s early days. Because Vic is breast feeding (and very well – see above
) she has to be involved every time Max needs feeding. I usually get Max when he cries and change him before we put him down and most of my time is spent getting things for Vic when she is feeding and doing most of the stuff around the house to make sure it runs OK. I kind of see myself as the support crew for the feeding machine that is Vic. It’s a difficult feeling to explain – at times I feel that I’m not doing enough but then Vic says that the stuff that I do is really appreciated as it allows her to concentrate on feeding and resting. A confusing time……
? Max is very, very cute when he gets the hiccups
He also has a new record in the category “projectile shitting with his nappy/diaper off” – 30 inches! Well done that little man.
? Sorry Grandparents, no new pictures. The house has been full of visitors today and with looking after them and Max it’s been a very busy day! Like the party animals that we are we were in bed at 19:30 tonight and then up at 21:15 for Max’s next feed…….. Saturday night in the Cramer household! lol!
I love Vic
She called this morning to say it was snowing heavily at home and so I asked her to take some photo’s with my digital SLR. The problem with this is she had to put the thing together first and she had never done this before – she’s never used an SLR before and thinks that my strong interest in photography borders on the obsessive at times. She had to get the batteries off the charger, insert the batteries, attach the right lens, find the memory card, insert the memory card, switch it on, choose the right mode and then (at last) take some photo’s! She did all this under my instructions over the phone and everything went OK.
But that’s not what made me all gooey.
As she was looking out the window though the viewfinder she asked me Do I have to do anything with the exposure because of all the white snow?
Bless her little cotton socks ![]()
