Next Monday is the start of my Atkins diet!  This seems to really polarise people – they either love it (usually men that have done it) or hate it and think it’s dangerous (Vic ) I know quite a few people that have done it and they all swear by it….. we’ll see.

Also the bloody cat went missing for a couple of hours today (we found her about 2 minutes ago) About a week ago we had two cat doors put in (external garage door and in the door between the hall and garage) and we’ve slowly allowed her more and more freedom as the week has gone on.  The last few days she’s had free reign of the house and grounds (and has woken us up at about 05:00 the last few days by rubbing noses and purring ) Anyway, we looked high and low for her tonight, calling for her and making fools of ourselves, only to find her curled up right in the corner of the living room under the couch!  She usually comes when you call her but she must have just been too tired. The joys of pet ownership

For the next week I will post at least once a day – even if it’s just an interesting link I’ve found.  I need to make a commitment to this blog for at least a short time……..

I have quickly come to the conclusion that, just before Christmas, radio stations have far too much Mariah Carey butchering traditional Christmas songs and carols by wailing and warbling her way through them……..

It’s not even nine o’clock in the evening and Vic and I are off to bed….

I’ve spent the last two days playing with and setting up my X50v If’d I’d been able to do an update from the cafe I was in at lunchtime wirelessly surfing I would have but PocketIE couldn’t handle it……..

…… must go and find a today screen plug in that will do the weather now

My X50V has shipped – much yayness

Of course I’m away in Auckland for the next two days so it’s bound to turn up tomorrow morning and sit there pining for me for two days

I’ve just ordered a new toy – Dell Axim X50V (3.7” VGA screen!) with two spare batteries, a travel synch cable and 3 years complete care cover…….

I’m very excited but it looks like delivery may take a while 🙁 At least my Clie is trucking along quite nicely.
