I left a stunning day in Wellington to come to a very wet Auckland – boo!
I’m up here preparing for a meeting and surfing the web on my laptop via the bluetooth modem in my cellphone at the breakneck speed of 9.6kbs
Luckily I haven’t posted many pictures lately and this site is surpisingly quick
You thought you had it bad Gina
See ya!

Damn weather! Deb and I were going to get together and have a day of Holga fun on Saturday but the weather was inclement to say the least. Oh well – we’ll reschedule I hope
Other than that the weekend was as usual. Max got to see all of his grandparents and we got another weekend with no time for chores
If I earned more money I’d get someone to come in and clean the house, cars, my mouth out with soap – the usual……….

I saw this as someone’s sig on the aximsite forums and thought it was hilarious.
If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I’d carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like ?Hey, look. He’s carrying a soldering iron!? and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, ?That’s right, it’s a soldering iron. The soldering iron of justice.? Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they had made fun of the soldering iron of justice, and I could probably hit them up for a free drink.

Just off to Auckland again for two more days – boooooo!
Last time though – yay!
The last entry was so boring and badly written that I almost put myself to sleep reading it! Sorry
Doing two people’s job’s for a month has left no time for anything interesting 🙁
Anyway – flight to catch – see ya and have a good weekend.

Sunday evening – Max is in bed grumbling and Vic’s in bed sick……. what a way to finish the weekend 🙁
Last week was mental at work and so all of a sudden it’s the weekend and I haven’t done an update for ages. The weekend brings with it a range of chores so that’s flown as well. The one good thing is that it’ll be summer before I know it
As you know we bought Max a proper bed a couple of weeks ago and we moved into his room today. After we made it up the first thing he did was jump up and snuggle under the covers! He was wide awake at the time but at least he recognises what it is, right For his afternoon nap Vic tried to put him in his cot but he just stood there crying and pointing at his new bed
We put him in it and left him for 15 minutes or so but he wasn’t having any of it so it was back into his cot…… good start though
I hope your weekends were good

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) – A South African man who shot his pregnant fiance dead before killing himself will be posthumously married to her at the weekend.
Police Captain Mohale Ramatseba said David Masenta shot 25-year-old Mgwanini Molomo after a quarrel before turning the gun on himself. But Johannesburg’s Sowetan newspaper said family and friends wanted to remember them as a happy couple destined for a happy life together.
The groom’s corpse would be dressed in a cream suit and his bride’s in a gown for the ceremony, at which a priest in the rural village of Ceres in Limpopo will bless the union before the two are buried, the Sowetan said.
“In African culture, there is no death—there is merely the separation of body and soul,” said cultural expert Mathole Motshekga. “It is also important because the families are married together.”
“This does not mean the relationship has irretrievably broken down.”
