i don’t even pretend to understand the intricacies of what’s going on in the middle east at the moment but i’m amazed at how it all seems to be spiralling out of control. it seems….
it seems that every time i turn on the news there is either another suicide bombing or the israeli army has moved into another town.
i was talking to vic about this the other night and reminded her that when sharon was elected in feb last year i said that the situation would take a turn for the worse. how is it that i, with no knowledge of the history of this conflict, could see this coming and that people are now surprised? i’m not taking sides (as i said i don’t know enough) but if a hard-line ex-military man is in charge then there is really only going to be one path followed.
