bubbles
I’m pretty sure work will slow down one day…………….
We visited my mother the other day and out came the bubbles.
Thanks to my mother for the shot.

Max’s playgroup had a halloween dress-up morning recently (except it wasn’t called halloween because that might upset someone – sheesh!) and Max went as Bob the Builder
So cute

Ahh – a public holiday Monday
Max lasted about 45 minutes in his big bed before waking up and deciding that it really wasn’t for him
I went up after we heard him making a bit of noise only to find him in our bedroom looking around and going “Mum? Daddy?” bless him.
In other Max news he’s saying more and more as the days go by. He seems to be in the middle of the bunch, development-wise, at playgroup and his words include Mum, Daddy, no (of course), yes (but only after post-squeal prompting), ta, bob-bob (bob the builder
), shoes, two (but not one!), dig-dig (digger), no animal names but baa, woof and meow…….. I think that’s it. Naturally he sounds dead cute saying any of them ![]()
Max is upstairs sleeping in his big bed for the first time – awwww
He looks so little in it!
He was asleep in the car so we put him in there for his afternoon nap – it’ll be interesting to see how much freaks out when he wakes up………
Oh, and we’re off to the first of many second birthday parties this afternoon!
My Mother bought Max a wee trike the other day and I got the job of putting it together
Here’s a picture of Max “helping” me screw it up together. Naturally a job of this importance required his Bob the builder hard hat

Poor wee Max is so ill today. We thought it might have been croup but after a day or so I think it’s just a terribly bad cold that’s stopping him breathing properly. He’s been coughing and whiny all day and it’ll be interesting to see how we go tonight…….
I other news though we bought Max two “big boy” things. The first is a couple of potties
One for upstairs and one for downstairs – we don’t need them yet but it pays to be prepared!
The really big thing is that he now has a bed! He’s not in it yet as we may have a friend coming to stay with his two boys but it’ll be in his room in a week or two. He’s had great fun bouncing on it today and getting him to sleep in it will be a whole new challenge ![]()
Max is off for his first session at the swimming pool today
