? Another POTD at digitalphotocontest.com today – YAY!  An extremely set up shot as you can see but a bit of fun none the less

? Hells Pizza’s totally rock! They’ve just (today!) opened up a branch about 200 yards down the road. We had the mordor pizza and some mini samosas and everything was damn yummy!

? Max can now play peek-a-boo with us with him controlling whatever he wants to cover his face – so cute We also have a feeling that teeth 5 and 6 are on their way through……….

? The Blaster worm seems to be getting around.  Some of my blogging friends have been cursed with it and I spent 3 hours on Wednesday night disinfecting my mother’s PC which was also infected.  I’m also nipping up to Vic’s mum’s tomorrow to make sure that she’s all up to date. A tricky worm indeed!

Max’s 4th tooth came through today – 6 months 3 weeks and the little bugger’s got his 4th! I don’t know

Besides that life just goes quietly on. Things on the work front have paused – the guy that’s supposed to interview me is on holiday. 

I feel a re-design coming on, maybe into more of a photoblog ‘cos I just don’t have much to say but loads of time to take photo’s.  The problem with that is I know that as soon as I get a job the roles will be reversed.  The other option is to start up a proper photoblog I guess, even though the lo-res project has taken a back seat with the 26 things site taking up my time (21 done and 5 to go )

Max’s third tooth broke through in the weekend (his top right) and the poor wee man has been pretty grumpy about it too!  Here’s some pics from the same shoot as the breastfeeding shot below. Three very different shots all taken within 5 minutes of each other.

Well it’s another Monday and the only difference is there are more spaces in the car parking building that I park to when I go into town

I’m off to see an agency tomorrow about a job. The role might be suitable – they told me the client’s name so at least it’s a real role! It’s also an excuse to see if my suit still fits………

I’ve also added another couple of pictures to my 26 things website – only 20 to go in 9 days 🙁

I just had to post this – I bought a lens cloth today and almost wet myself reading the blurb on the back. This is it exactly as it is written, spelling and punctuation intact.

After trying four I have at last found an IE “upgrade” that does what I want it to.  I’ve been looking for the ability to have tabbed browsing within IE for a while and all the other programs I’ve tried have done various strange things, mostly with popups. When most blogs have popup comment windows this can be a problem!

Avantbrowser seems to do everything properly If you’re an IE user (and 79.9% of you are according to my webstats) you should at least have a look at it.

PS: Yes, I use Opera and Mozilla as well, but IE is my main browser

Not a good day today.  First of all not having a job is starting to get to me. I woke up this morning feeling pretty shitty about it actually. Luckily I had a day out taking photos with my friend Jay to look forward to.

That is until he cancelled at about 10:30…….. “no worries” I thought, “I’ll just nip out on my own” It’s a nice day today but after 3 hours and about 10 crap pics later I came to the conclusion that my head just wasn’t in it so I should give up and have some lunch.  Malaysian was what I felt like and so I found a small restaurant, sat down, ordered mee goreng, and pulled out my Clie to read a book.  Hmmm – no books in the list…….the 128MB memorystick was missing! After walking around for 2 hours there really was no point in back-tracking to find it so I gave up on it 🙁

I drove home in an absolutely foul mood and of course every idiot was out on the roads just to piss me off!  When I got home though I thought I’d hunt through the car and see if the MS had popped out while it was on the passenger seat.  Lo and behold it had come out of my clie, gone though the seat, onto the floor in the rear of the car and ended up under Max’s car seat base legs.

Whilst not in quite as bad a mood as an hour ago I still wouldn’t cross me…………..
