I tried a relatively simple change to the CSS last night because the site looked screwed up under firefox (my default browser now) Got it looking really nice and then looked at it under IE6 – completely wrong!!! Bloody IE doesn’t handle CSS very elegantly (or correctly) so the site’s been looking weird for last wee while.
The front page looks the same in both browsers for the minute (all the menu on the LHS is missing) but I’ll see what I can do over the weekend.

In the last two months exactly the counter here has shown that this page gets an average of 257 hits per day…….

Email comment notification seems to be working again now that I’ve upgraded to v2.3 of pMachine 
The new version allows you a lot more control of the method that it uses to communicate via email and it’s all good!

Obviously my shite host has done something to the email server ‘cos pMachine can’t send out notification emails 🙁 My apologies if I haven’t replied to a comment via email but it’s that I don’t have an email to reply to.
Might be a good idea to upgrade to 2.3 to have more control over email……

Don’t be surprised if this site disappears for a while. I’ve just requested the transfer of the domain to my godaddy account so I have more control over it. Given the track history with this kind of thing from the current host of this domain nothing would surprise me………

Damn – I just got my first lot of blog comment spam 🙁 It was only on my lo-res photo blog and I’ve banned the IP address but I don’t know if that will do any good.
If it continues I may have to bring back comment registration but hopefully it won’t come to that………

The site World 66 has a page that allows you to select all the countries you’ve visited and then produces a map. I’ve been to only 11% of the worlds countries 🙁
