one tooth down and nineteen to go :)
Max lost his first tooth today!Β The tooth behind it (and the one next to it) came through a while back but today he wiggled it while at the supermarket and out it came!Β The tooth fairy will no doubt visit π

Where does the time go? Max turned five today and I have no idea where the time has gone (I think I say that every year! Four and three :))

He was, naturally, spoiled by everyone! For his party we went to Junglerama at lunchtime with his friends and then had fish and chips at home with the family for dinner. It was all very tiring as Vic and I only got home from a wedding anniversary, 4 day trip to Melbourne to watch Phoenix FC play at 02:00 and were up at 05:45!
Hi there
This post is a wee bit late I know but we’ve been busy and I just haven’t got around to it. So let’s see……
Christmas day was good with no traveling involved and it was nice that the boys could have time to enjoy their presents as they turned up. We specifically told people to not go too overboard with presents this year but we still seemed to fill up the lounge in no time! Thanks to everyone that visited and to all those that weren’t here for Christmas, we thought of you all.
Just before Christmas Vic also got a new (used) car. It’s an 2nd generation Estima which is a Japanese import version of the Previa. Very practical, nice and smooth to drive and Vic and the boys love it! The best we’ve done is 4 adults, three kids and a stroller which was pretty good going π

New Years was spent in the lovely Wairarapa at our friend’s holiday home with them and their 3 month old baby. The weather was great and it was a very relaxing couple of days. Being old farts we looked at each other at 11:30 on New Years Eve, said “5, 4, 3, 2, 1 – Happy New Year!” and went to bed before midnight! Very funny but we were all fading fast and all had kids sleeping with us……
Now it’s back to work and the nose back to the grindstone. Luckily it’s not too busy this week so it’s hardly a chore π
Merry Christmas everyone!
It’s mid-afternoon, rainy, miserable and the kids are in bed – ahhhh π This year we are not going any where and people are all coming to us so things have been a bit hectic so far. It doesn’t help when you don’t get to bed until 00:30 and are up at 05:45…………
We hope that you all have a great time over the festive period and we look forward to seeing you over the coming year.
PS: Max’s t-shirt says “Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is EVERYTHING, please” π
This seems to be a big day for Max!
The first thing is he’s having his first night sans pullups. He’s been dry at night for a couple of weeks now and I think it’s time for that next step.Β I know he’ll have accidents (and be distraught) but it’s a move he needs to make.
The second thing (and a bit stranger) is that he has his first adult tooth!Β The boys stayed at my Mum’s last night while Vic and I watched the Phoenix play and we went to pick them up at lunchtime.Β When we got there Mum warned me that Max had hurt his tooth while eating a plum.Β I asked Max if I could have a look and whilst checking it out saw a whole new tooth popping through!Β This isn’t suppposed to start until he’s at least six and he’s not even five yet!Β He now has two wiggly teeth (bottom middle ones) so we’ll see how that goes π
It’s true – look π

Hello from the lounge at LAX π
Sorry there hasn’t been an update while I’ve been here (I got here 14 hours late) but my week has been mucho filled with training sessions, meetings and copious amounts of drinking….
I was looking through the photos on my camera and came across this one. Max had a party a couple of weeks ago that had a pirate theme. Naturally Elliot wanted to join in π

Update to follow (probably)
