With Vic away I thought I’d pop out for a bite to eat and go to the movies to see a movie that she wouldn’t.
As I’m 2/3 of the way through reading The Bourne Identity I thought I’d go and see that. The only show today was 21:10 so at 21:00 I settled myself down in the theater and waited to be entertained…….
? I was surprised to have a child on each side of me! We are talking about 10-12 year olds here. I can’t remember going to see a movie that started after 9 at that age! Luckily they behaved for the 2 and a bit hours during the movie…….
? The good thing about the movie is seeing it hasn’t ruined the book at all. I know that I’m only 2/3 through the book but if the rest of the it is as totally different as the movie then I won’t have even ruined the ending! lol!
Anyway it’s 00:30 and I have more slides to scan………..

? There was a tube strike in London yesterday 🙁 Millions of commuters were affected (including Vic) and it took me 2.5 hours to drive the 19 miles to work! The strange thing is I left work 20 mins early expecting to have to battle my way home and made it all the way in an hour!! Weird.
? After lunch today Vic says that the baby either really likes or really hates mushroom pizza – either way it was boogieing down all afternoon. lol!
I’m sure there were other things but they’ve slipped my mind……….
Oh – the final, final episode of the X-files is on tonight……cool!

I’ve snuck on to a PC at my new job……….
Things are all a bit boring really – I have a laptop but no access to our network 🙁
The good news is I can go home today – YAY! I’ll go into my normal place of work tomorrow and hopefully get access to stuff.
PS: I lost a filling last night 🙁 but managed to see a dentist this morning and got a temp filling put in…..
opps, gotta go – see ya……

It’s late on Sunday night and we’ve just got back from visiting Vic’s Aunt and Uncle in Bristol.
We had a great weekend and there are a few photos here. If you like cats and dogs you might like these…… See if you can find me in one of the shots!
Update to follow tomorrow – hope you all had a good weekend.

Whatever you do don’t accidentally start watching part one of a two part story about the rape and subsequent pregnancy of a minor on Little house on the Prairie!
Not only was I really surprised at such a topic being covered but now I have to watch it tomorrow!!!!! 🙁

Another weekend over and nothing to show for it.
Vic and I basically did nothing besides stay as cool as possible. Although the temperature was less than the forecast (31/88 instead of 33/91) it was still pretty hot! Vic isn’t feeling the heat as badly as in the first trimester but it’s still not up there on the list of her favourite things
SA beat Australia in the final game of the tri-nations tournament which makes the All Blacks the Tri-nations champs! GO THE AB’s :vbg:
And that’s about it. To be honest it was really nice to chill out and I felt very close to Vic this weekend. Her Mum turns up from NZ next weekend for a family wedding so I think it will be the last quiet weekend we have for a while!

I went for a 30 minute run 2 days ago and, lightweight that I am, I had to stop and walk for about 2 mins in the middle of it. I was annoyed at myself for doing it but, damn, it was too hot for my poor little fat and unfit body to carry on!
I was going to go for a run today as well but it’s 26/79 at 09:00 and we’re aiming for a high of 28/83 or thereabouts. Far too hot methinks so I might see how it is at about 22:00………
