We’ll it looks like our second offer on the house has been accepted!  Our first offer was rejected outright, which I thought it would be, so we reworked the additions to the specification that we had and made another offer this morning.  The agent rang this morning and said that the developer had accepted and signed and that we should be able to sign this afternoon…… fingers crossed

In other news I saw this in the supermarket a few days ago and luckily I had my phone with me! Any one for a deadly drink?

The site World 66 has a page that allows you to select all the countries you’ve visited and then produces a map.  I’ve been to only 11% of the worlds countries 🙁

yay – public holiday!

Things have been fairly uninteresting here lately hence the lack of posting 🙁 Work has been crazy during this short week and I’ve barely paused for breath other than to try and decide what Vic and I are going to offer on a house that we want to buy.  It’s a design-build package that they are about to build and we can’t quite afford to pay the full asking price and still have some of the extras that we want (double glazing, underfloor heating in the bathrooms The agent is coming around on Sunday morning and we’ll make a formal offer then and wait…….. very exciting and more than a bit scary!

In other news Max has been a right sh*t over the last few days.  Really grumbly and unsettled and throwing tantrums left right and center – of course it might have something to do with the two or three teeth we think are coming through at the same time 🙁 Thank God for Pamol and Bonjela!

Yep, I’m back in town and damn it feels good to be home!  Three more weeks and I’m back in Sydney for another week though – next time I’ll take a camera! I walk around and see all these things I want to take pics of but don’t have a small enough camera to take away. I see a shopping trip coming up

Max has learned three new things while I’ve been away 🙁 He now waves properly (not just opening and closing his hand)! You leave, he waves. You come back and he waves – so cool. 

He has also taken a shine to walking backwards! lol!  He’ll be standing in the middle of the lounge and walk backwards using little steps until he hits something.  He looks really funny – a little moonwalking dude!

The final thing is opening doors! Vic was sitting there and watched him walk over to the front door, reach up on tippy-toes to open the front door and then wander out down the drive! He’s only a year old the little bugger!  Looks like we’ll be locking the front door from now on……..
