Damn weather!  Deb and I were going to get together and have a day of Holga fun on Saturday but the weather was inclement to say the least.  Oh well – we’ll reschedule I hope

Other than that the weekend was as usual.  Max got to see all of his grandparents and we got another weekend with no time for chores If I earned more money I’d get someone to come in and clean the house, cars, my mouth out with soap – the usual……….

I saw this as someone’s sig on the aximsite forums and thought it was hilarious.

If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I’d carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like ?Hey, look. He’s carrying a soldering iron!? and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, ?That’s right, it’s a soldering iron. The soldering iron of justice.? Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they had made fun of the soldering iron of justice, and I could probably hit them up for a free drink.

Got back from Auckland on Friday and no more trips up there in the foreseeable future – yay!  The weekend was hectic and this week sees a new round of 14 hour work days hence the severe lack of updates 🙁

My colleague is back from Russia now though and so I won’t be looking after the entire country anymore – phew.  Still a bit of a backlog to get through but that should be over by the end of the week (fingers crossed)

Hope you are all well – Vic and Max have been sick with upset tummies and general blah-ness but seem to be sorted now. Touch wood it’s skipped me………

Just off to Auckland again for two more days – boooooo!

Last time though – yay!

The last entry was so boring and badly written that I almost put myself to sleep reading it! Sorry Doing two people’s job’s for a month has left no time for anything interesting 🙁

After another couple of days out of town it’s great to be home

About 30 minutes after I left on Thursday Vic’s new laptop turned up!  Naturally we bought a Dell (an Inspiron 1150 to be exact) It’s the cheapest laptop that Dell does and the deal on the Web was better than I could get as staff so I bought it as Joe Public

So far the experience has been good. It was easy to order and turned up 6 days after ordering.  I’ve loaded it up with XP SP2 and MS Office and that should pretty much do it for Vic.  It seems to be running OK but it much larger than her old laptop.
