Well hi everybody, long time no speak! Things have been hectic here in Cramerland. My weekend was spent eating and drinking with friends (again) and the time just absolutely flew.
The best thing and the most time consuming however was buying and setting up my new toy :vbg: The time spent on this pretty much totaled my weekend but it really has been worth it…….
You’ve gotta laugh! Italian Serie A club Perugia have decided not to renew the contract of Ahn Jung-Hwan, the South Korean midfielder whose golden goal knocked Italy out of the World Cup.
After 19 contiguous days, 56 games, 147 goals, 16 red and 245 yellow cards the World Cup tournament pauses for a rest. We’ve reached the ? final stage and 3 of the 4 favourites are out. South Korea’s extra time golden goal put paid to Italy yesterday and there is now a 2 day break until the next round of knock-out games commence.
07:30 on Friday is when England goes mad again. It should be a good game against Brazil but I must say – I don’t fancy England’s chances……. Not only do we go through the “group of death” but then we get the quarter-final of death!
I must say that it is very strange not to hear commentary in the background!
pMachine is great but damn, it’s doing my head in! The next few days will be spent figuring out how to:
? Include the register.co.uk RSS feed into the sidebar for IT related headlines Pro version only
? Get my Avantgo PDA channel up and running with the new blog – and showing what I want
? Toying with the idea of getting the cool little script here working under PM (unlikely as I have NO idea what I’m doing!)
So the next few nights should be interesting if nothing else. Hopefully there are some friendly and helpful people out there on the web……….
Man – what a world cup it’s been so far. England through to the last eight. France and Argentina out. Ireland’s valiant attempt against Spain and now the USA has just beaten Mexico 2-0 to also reach the last eight! And of course who can forget Senegal
